About Us

James Candelaria is an avid SCCA racer currently campaigning the #80 Corvette in Touring 2 as well as the #34 Corvette in Touring 1.  James founded Candelaria Racing products after seeing an opportunity to both enhance driver safety as well as to get an edge on the competition. 

 

James is a systems engineer by trade and was the founder of WhipTail Technologies which broke new ground in Solid State Storage prior to its sale to Cisco Systems in 2013.  It is James' intent to bring his systems engineering background to motorsports product development w/ Candelaria Racing products.
